On the last article I was referring to forums as a method to drive targeted traffic to your site. For this article we are going to talk about blogs. To me there is not much difference however with a blog you can't start a post you can only reply and make comments. That is the biggest difference.

As you may know Blogs have been getting hammered with spam. I know this as I have a blog myself. So don't take it upon yourself to just go in there and make comments like "Nice Site' " Good Work" then have your link. In other words don't spam. Be a real human being and contribute.

Once again when leaving comments on blogs you need to add value, not detract from it with your self promoting. You need to contribute and have a good signature that is catchy and too the point. You have to ask yourself in your own mind do I have the answer to these questions. Will what I am recommending help these people.

Just like with forums you want to look for busy blogs. To find blogs relative to your market just go to Google type in the keyword then beside it put blogs, example "gardening blogs"

To find out how well it is ranked just copy the web address from your address bar then go to alexa and paste the address of the blog into the search box under web traffic. This will help you to determine how much traffic that blog gets.

Once again just as in the forums answer people's questions, help solve their problems. Engage in dialogue. Stand behind what you do.
