Blog Block - 7 Simple Tips How to Get Over Blog Block

Sometimes you're going to come up against something that what we bloggers like to call 'blog block' and blog block is when you get stuck. You 'hit the wall' so to speak, your creativity, your flow of content becomes null. It'll seem like one minute you'll have everything under control, and in fact in actuality your moving at superior rate of 100mph and then all of a sudden, something comes up, and you stop. You have nothing. Nothing of Value to say. Nothing of Value to give...You've Hit the dreaded Blog Block.

Believe me, you can be dash-darn sure it sure doesn't feel very good. In fact it makes you feel quite unproductive, more fed up, and creativity crushed. The good news is, is its not your fault; usually blog block comes from outside influence that is out of your control. That just so happens to cut off your flow...

So what does that mean? It means, you're stressed!
- But there are steps that you can take to re-pumping your creative juices...

1. Go for a walk, de-stress it out, Get away from the Computer! It is doing nothing for you, sitting around hoping that inspiration will come to you is not the best way to create inspiration, inspiration cannot be pushed it must be cradled! So go for a nice walk, listen to some inspirational music, and carry a notepad with you for ideas that you come up with.

2. Change your Environment. Go somewhere else to create your content, such as a friends house, cafe', or library. Sometimes you just need to blog from a different place get a different perspective, or just to clear your mind of the space.

3. Listen and read other peoples Content. Get ideas from them, you can even do responses to their content, give them a kudos and say hello, this is a nice way to get yourself back into your game because not only will you be inspired to create your own content for your viewers, but you'll be joining in as a part of the community as well as.

4. Free Write. Just get your pen out and start. Go. Now. Give yourself 10-30 minutes of non stop free writing about anything! It could be gobbly goop! Just create that flow!

5. Be Alert. Inspiration can pop up anywhere, so don't limit yourself to your niche' listen to conversations that are happening around you, read magazines, watch movies... you never know what will spark that fire and get you out of Blog Block!

6. Be Honest. If your feeling out of it. Be Honest and write about it. I was feeling Blog Block, so I wrote this article, and I have a couple of honest posts lying around my blog... not my best work, but it got me out of a hump!

7. Lastly, keep an idea journal with you. Always. Carry it with you anywhere anytime, and write in it when ideas hit! so you will always have a wealth of ideas to fickle through. Its a great tool to easily flow past blog block and get you onto your next post and feeding those hungry fans.
