Blackberry Storm 9500 is a typical Blackberry business tool with an attractive touch screen whereas the Samsung Pixon M8800 is a masterly camera phone designed by Samsung.

The followings are the similarities and dissimilarities of the two: -

1. The Storm comprises of a huge 3.2 inches touch screen which displays up to 65K colors with screen resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The users will love the QWERTY keyboard that is featured on the touch screen. The phone weighs 155 grams with physical measurements of 112.5mm x 62.2mm x 14mm. On the contrary, the Pixon's touch sensitive TFT screen is of 3.2 inches that shows 262K colors at 240 x 400 pixels resolution and its physical dimensions are of 108 x 54.6 x 13.8 mm with 121 grams of weight. Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate is a commonly given feature in them.

2. Samsung Pixon M8800, being a camera oriented phone is loaded with a massive 8 mega pixel camera. The Blackberry Storm 9500's 3.2 mega pixel camera cannot even think to beat its competitor. Auto Focus, LED Flash, Image Stabilizer are few common features in them while the first one additionally carries Panorama Shot, Face, Simile and Blink Detection, Image Geo Tagging, Wide Dynamic Range etc. high end features as well.

3. MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, WMA ProPlus music files and MP4, 3gp, H.264, WMV video files are playable on the Storm 9500. Roxio Media Manager is an additional on it. On the Pixon M8800 you can easily play MP3, WMA, eAAC+ & AMR music files as well as DivX, XviD, H.263, H.264, WMV, MP4 video files.

4. 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, USB (Micro USB in case of Pixon), GPRS and EDGE are the connectivity and data sharing attributes available on these contenders.

5. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files are accessible on these phones while the Storm will allow you to edit them as well.

6. WAP 2.0, X-HTML and HTML are the browsing technologies of the camera oriented phone while the other one carries HTML browser along with RIM Wireless Modem feature.

7. Both the rivals carry same navigation feature that includes GPS navigation system with A-GPS support but the Storm 9500 also sports Blackberry Maps application too.
