Bkf Files - Their Importance, Their Corruption And Their Healing

BKF is a proprietary backup format (also known as "Microsoft Tape Format" or MTF) to back up files so that their backup versions can be used when the original data is lost. BKF files can be backed up on to tape, ZIP drives, floppy disks, and hard disk drives. BKF file format is used by NTBACKUP which is the built-in backup application. It was introduced in Windows NT around 1997 and now is part of all subsequent versions up to and including Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.

In this case information is lose, however, the filter correctly handles the exception.
