Benefits of Using a Quad During Hunting Season
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

Well it's hunting season again and you found a new spot you would like to explore but your thinking, how can I get through that swamp to get to that great hunting spot. Well here's where a quad will shine at hunting season. It might not be a huge swamp, maybe just a nasty mudhole but a 4 wheeler will get you there. Flick the switch to 4WD and poof! Your got through it like nothing. That's just one benefit of having a quad for hunting season.

I personally own a 2005 Arctic Cat 500 4WD and it made my hunting alot more easy. Not only is it good for pushing snow in the winter but I bought it mainly for hunting. I bought it 4 years ago and now I use it alot during hunting season. I can cover a lot of ground in a very short time, just another benefit of having a quad. I'll ride to where I would like to spot up, park it a good distance away and walk to a good spot for the morning or evening hunt. Don't get me wrong, I'll walk, just like I did before I bought a quad but now it saves time and distance to where I want to go. I also have a rear seat on the back that can store all my hunting gear that will stay dry and thats a bonus in the cold or wet weather.

Now you sat for hours and there he is, the buck of a lifetime. You squeeze the trigger slowly and BANG, you see him flinch and run into the bush. Now you go look for a blood trail and there he is, and it leads right to him, 100 yards away from where you shot him. Now, your thinking, man I have to drag him 2 miles back to the truck but wait, that's where the 4wheeler comes in. You go get the quad, drive up to the animal and now load him on the rack of the bike. Strap the buck down and away you go, ever so easly back to the truck to load him up. Alot easier than dragging your prize big buck through the swamp and mud. Just makes your hunt of a lifetime awhole lot easier don't you think.

I'm sure glad I bought my quad, it sure makes the hard work of hunting just alittle bit easier. Like I said before, walking through the bush is one thing I enjoy during hunting, but the bike makes things just alittle more easier to get the tough job done. I have no regret's spending money on a quad as I have found more great hunting areas that I wouldn't have done before by walking through some tough grounds.

I run a online outdoor store which I just opened recently and would like to invite you to check it out! I'm a avid outdoorsman and I wouldn't sell something that I wouldn't use myself! I'm adding products everyday and hope you might need something or if I don't have it, ask me and I'll see if I can get it for you. Thank you, here is the URL:
