Have you ever faced a massive wave of "no, not again"? The greatest desire of postponing and procrastinating you ever had? Doing 'whatever' useless things your mind could imagine but picking up a phone and calling your prospect. And when you finally found the courage to make a call, you received tons of rejections and objections? You almost lost your self-respect and felt humiliated? But you still want to make this opportunity work for you.

Nevertheless you are a complete 'newbie' either or a 'seasoned' network marketer, sponsoring quality prospects is one of the biggest challenges faced by MLM reps. Not because it's hard, but simply because you just are not taught.

If you are serious about your network marketing business there are just two options:

1. Through trial and error.

2. Learning from MLM industry experts.

In fact sponsoring is a skill you can learn, and when you master it you make a lot of money in MLM. You see, if you want the same results (money) the heavy hitters get, you've gotten do what the heavy hitters do or don't.

Dont's when it comes to sponsoring over the phone:

- Don't underestimate the number of people you will have to talk about the business (most people will say "NO" for many different reasons)

- Don't fail to TAKE ACTION immediately; don't procrastinate and don't be afraid to make mistakes (you can ONLY learn by being there and doing it).

- Don't try to sell and convince your prospects especially when you just start.

- Don't go/do it alone. You have an upline that is there to help you. If necessary do 3 way calling until you are comfortable with the phone prospecting process.

Do's when it comes to sponsoring over the phone:

- Look after your mindset and change it if necessary - from scarcity mindset to abundance mindset (accept that some will say "NO"; just be open to any answer and be concerned only about sponsoring the RIGHT aka HIGH QUALITY team members).

- Take control of the conversation (interview and qualify in order to find if they are ones YOU want to work with; then give them the information and then let THEM decide).

- Develop your integrity and leadership (you have to demonstrate that you have value to offer them).

- Let THEM qualify for your time and let THEM convince YOU that they are worth of your time and investment.
