In this day and age there are many people who are looking for ways to make renewable resources out of everything and anything. What a lot of people do not realize is that there are many plants that are renewable resources; it is a known fact that bamboo as a renewable resource is of the highest quality. It seems that most people associate bamboo with Panda Bears and would not believe that there are actually a lot of different ways to use bamboo in addition to being used as food for Pandas.

It is a fact that there are many different environmental ways that you can incorporate bamboo a renewable resource into your home and/or office setting. With just a few small changes and you will be making your home and/or office a little bit greener and helping the environment immensely.

First, bamboo a renewable resource, can be used to make all sorts of different things that we use every day and can even replace some metal and oak items because it is stronger than aluminum and definitely more durable than oak. For instance, using bamboo can save tons of trees, for it is a grass product and therefore grows back much faster than would a tree. This means that instead of using products made from trees, such as flooring, furniture, construction materials and other items, they can now be made of bamboo!

Another great thing about bamboo as a renewable resource, is the fact that it not only grows extremely fast, but it offers up a great environmental benefit for us humans. Bamboo as a plant, has green leaves which can filter the air around us, providing us with excellent, clean and refreshing oxygen in return. Bamboo has the ability to suck up all sorts of toxins and the carbon dioxide that we give off and turn it into fresh air - all we need to do is keep the plant hydrated and we can reap the benefits!

It is a known fact that one stalk of bamboo can take about two months to grow back, while a tree can take many years. Think of all the trees we can save if we use bamboo in our everyday lives. Flooring, furniture, fishing poles, wind chimes and even paper can be constructed from bamboo a renewable resource. Bamboo also looks very attractive so you do not have to be concerned about your home not being stylish, just because you are starting to go a little bit greener.
