Would someone be more likely to join your gym if you simply hand them a flyer (company tool) and ask them to join?
Or would it be more effective to give them some free personal training sessions to show how you can help them reach their fitness goals?
And it would only make sense that after you show them the road to success, they would join your gym!
Simply put, "AM" is about shifting the focus of your marketing efforts from "Company XYZ" to "You".
I know it seems counter-intuitive but what are people really buying into... your company? Or are they buying a solution to a problem? Of course you need to promote a company that provides a product or service that has real value to the people that use it, but the product comes second. What a prospect looking to join any MLM opportunity is looking to gain is a big bank account....Period. Otherwise, why would you want them in your business? After all, you want to make a ton of cash too...Right?
It's just an obvious fact that to have a huge downline requires a great amount of leadership ability. To be seen as leader you need to show your prospects that you have the ability to solve their problems and lead them to the success that they crave so much.
You need to know marketing inside and out, and be able to teach your knowledge to the people that follow you. You can get what you want if you simply help enough people get what they want.
The idea of attraction marketing has existed since the beginning of time. But it has never been broken down and explained so well until recently.
