Diamonds form between 75-120 miles below the earth's surface. They consist of pure carbon which has been placed under intense pressure for millions of years. Intense heat of 1100-1400 degrees Celsius produced by this pressure hardens the carbon. It takes thousands of years for those diamonds to come anywhere near the surface. Natural diamonds are rare to find and are very expensive. That's why they are regarded as very precious.
The process of creating a perfect article can be compared to the formation of a diamond. It takes a lot of hard work to polish it to perfection. You can't just write the article then publish it immediately. First you need to let it sit for a while then review it again and again. This helps you to look at it objectively and find creative ways to improve sentence structure, correct spelling and grammar mistakes.
What is a perfect article?
This will vary according to who you ask because everyone has different standards. An apprentice writer will have a different standard to a seasoned one however both can work on improving the quality of their content. As with anything "practice makes perfect." Your measure of success will depend on the feedback of your readers. For example if you write an article for your blog and you receive lots of positive comments you know you've created a winning article. The first article you write will look very different to the one written several years later.
How much time should you spend perfecting your article?
This will depend on the purpose of your content. If it's short blog post you won't invest much time into it. If you want to attract lots of readers create a pillar article. This could be a stand-alone article or a series of articles.
If you are a guest writer you would polish the article to perfection to maximize it's effectiveness. Top writers create many drafts before publishing their final copy.
If your purpose is to drive lots of traffic to your web site by submitting your content to article directories focus on quality and quantity. Quality because your content needs to offer great value to your readers and quantity because one article won't generate much traffic. Writing and submitting lots of articles will help you become recognized as an expert in your niche.
