1. Pick your topics. What article writing gurus say is true; the success of your articles relies heavily on your chosen topics. As early as this stage, you must already be thinking about how you can impress and better serve your readers. You would want to grab their attention and you want them to go crazy about your articles. This can happen if you talk about those things that they consider very important in their lives. These include their problems, their goals, their areas of interest, and their burning questions.

2. Make your articles interesting to read. People usually go online after a hard day's work. They sit in front of their computer hoping to get informed and entertained all at the same time. They're usually not in the mood to read hard facts and stiff articles. This is the reasons why I recommend that you make your articles not only useful but interesting to read as well so you can better serve your audience. This can happen if your articles sound more laid back and quite informal. Whenever appropriate, make use of your sense of humor to at least put smile on your readers' faces.

3. Offer complete information. This is very important as you want your audience to walk away feeling satisfied and well-informed. Perform an extensive research if you must and make sure that you'll be able to offer your readers with every piece of details needed to understand your chosen topics.

4. Spill the beans. One of the keys to really make your readers want for more is to share with them trade secrets that they usually don't find on regular articles.
