Writing articles can be time consuming when you did not prepare enough information on the topic you want write on. You could end up sitting in front of your computer and staring at the screen. So how then can you write an article in a relatively fast time? Following are what I do:

Before you start to write an article, you would have to decide on what you want to write on. You would need to have a good understanding or knowledge on the topics that you are going to write about. So how to gain knowledge on any topics? The answer is research. There are many places that you can gain information on the topics you have chosen, e.g, library, magazines, newspaper, internet, etc.

2. Article Marketing Secret No 2. - Taking notes

When you are doing your research, start taking down the points. Writing down the points on the topic you plan to write on will help you to organise your article. By adding relevant information from the notes that you have taken will also help to give substance to your article. An article that has substance will keep the readers on your page which will eventually lead them to your affiliate link. There will be a higher chance that the reader will click on the link to go to your website to find out more.

3. Article Marketing Secret No 3. - Organise your notes and start writing

Now that you are prepared with all the information that you need, it is time you put those points into your article. First spend a few minutes to sort through your notes and decide on the points you will touch on. And then start writing on those points.

You will find that with this preparation, your writing becomes smoother and much faster. These are the things I do before I write an article and I am usually able to complete my writing within 10 minutes. It has helped me cut down on the time I spend sitting in front of my com and starring at my screen.
