One of the reasons I took so long to try article marketing to promote my websites was the fact that I was not sure if it would work for me. There were a thousand questions and insecurities I was pondering. In the end, I decided to give it a go because I was spending a small fortune on pay per click ads that were not working.

I started with a few small articles, and used keywords that were relevant to my website product. It is just a matter of doing some simple keyword research to work out what the best keywords are to use. Once you have your keywords, choose one keyword for each article that you write and try and incorporate the keyword phrase into the heading of your article.

Once you have written your short article, get it published, first on your own blog or website and second on an article publishing site (this is a great one to start with). You should aim to write about twenty short articles to start with. You will soon start to see some traffic statistics related to each of your articles. This will tell you, how many people are reading your articles, how many people have clicked-through to visit your website and a few other things.

You will soon start to see a pattern emerge in the relationship with your articles that are read and the number of visitors to your website. You will also be able to quickly see how article marketing can soon attract as many free visitors to your site as you would like.
