Running your own business requires more than simply showing up for work and doing your JOB. Shift your thoughts to convert negative experiences into positive lessons. You will make mistakes. If you are not making mistakes, you are not stretching.

Identify your dream. Translate it into goals and action plans. Write it out. Talk it over. Find a trustworthy mentor in the field of your choosing. Learn from the success of others. Learn from the failures of others. You are unique . Becoming a successful entrepreneur is a reachable goal. Work to make it real.

Look around. Pay attention. Learn from the masters yet walk your own path. Success comes in inches most of the time. Celebrate each one. Do your homework. Read. Go to forums. Look, listen and assess what you see and hear. Be an active learner. Passive might get you through a boring meeting but it will not build your business.
