If you are looking to buy a new laptop bag or laptop case you will find that there is a much wider variety of designs, styles, colours and materials to choose from. So what should you be considering when buying a new laptop?

Gone are the days of being limited to the generic black business style laptop bags, these days we have a much greater variety to choose from. Not that there is anything wrong with a standard traditional bag, they are very sturdy, practical and have lots of room for accessories. The only downside is that they are a little boring.

These have a long handle and wheels much like a small suitcase and provides a good amount of storage and safety along with the ability to move your laptop and equipment around with greater ease. This is especially useful to avoid back and shoulder ache.

At the other end of the spectrum are the more trendier neoprene laptop sleeves also referred to as gloves or soft cases. These offer little additional storage and are designed to just fit your laptop to provide some extra protection when you are not using it or travelling with it occasionally. They do not tend to have handles as they are generally not used for commuting but are popular with students. They are made from the same material as wet suits.
