There are 2 pink elephants in your office jumping rope. Seriously, TWO! JUMPING ROPE! You may not believe me but there really are. They are there it's just not polite to stare. It's not acceptable to laugh. So you turn a blind eye and continue working at the computer and making phone calls. But you can hear them. Those 2 pink elephants are whooping it up - first they double-dutch. Then it's a tandem. You can hear the sing-song that helps them keep their rhythm steady. You begin to wonder "Pink Elephants! What in the world is this?! And why are they jumping rope in my office?" It is impossible for you to concentrate and you just wish they would go away. You pack it up for the day and hope that when you return tomorrow they would have gone.

The next day you walk into your office you see the 2 pink elephants erecting a sign for a jump rope competition being held that afternoon. They've come equip with more ropes, balls and a boom box. With a great sigh you head to your desk and begin to work. You think that if you ignore them they'll just go away. Within minutes all you can hear is the pounding pink

It is my observation that women have particular stumbling blocks and limiting beliefs when it comes to achieving their dreams and goal. I call these the "2 Pink Elephants Jumping Rope." What are they? Why are they jumping rope? What's that about? Here's the symbolic breakdown:

Elephant#1 = the Fear of Success
Elephant#2 = the Fear of Money

The Rope - your ability to understand that you are worthy of both money and success

No matter what kind of business or career you may be in chances are you've heard the elephants jumping rope behind you. It's a crazy noisy distraction of self sabotaging limiting beliefs that keep you from achieving your dreams but it's very specifically about MONEY and the MEANING OF SUCCESS. A woman's worthiness and acceptance of her own personal power is wrapped up in this combination - it's literally the emotion and motion that link these principles together.

What are your pink elephants singing behind YOU? Are you tired of the noise yet? Pink Elephants make A LOT of noise! They demand attention and will find a way to get it. How can anyone ignore them!? It's impossible unless you shed light on the situation - after all pink elephants are merely an illusion. So are the self sabotaging beliefs associated with them. If you are looking to move on with your success then it's time to herd the pack and evict them pronto! No more messing around!

As you're reading this I am sure that some emotion has welled up inside of you and you have begun to hear the self-sabotaging limiting beliefs about money & success. Does the idea of earning a larger income than you currently do make you nervous or anxious? Your palms may get sweaty. Or you feel a little nauseous at the sheer fear and doubt of being successful?

We will always find a way to pull our actions into line with our thoughts. That is why self-sabotage is so effective. It does not work any other way. Change the thought, then the action changes therefore your result will be different. The action and the outcome will automatically shift once the thought cycle has been altered.

I invite you to share your pink elephant stories with me. What do they tell you? How does it affect your productivity? Manifesting Abilities? And overall focus? How has refocusing your thoughts and evicting them changed your outcome? You can email me at maria@nomoresabotage.com. I'd love to hear your story. Identities will remain anonymous (if you so choose) BUT pink
