Antivir Solution Pro Removal Guide - How to Remove Antivir Solution Pro Even When it Resists Removal

Antivir Solution Pro is the latest rogue antivirus product brought to us by the makers of AV Security Suite and Antispyware Soft. Once it infects a computer, Antivir Solution Pro basically takes full control of that computer and prohibits any removal attempt. In order to elude removal, it intercepts programs before they start and blocks them from running. Antivir Solution Pro tries to put the pressure on the user by continually bombarding them with fake scans, pop-ups and fake security alerts. Additionally, it has been seen to sometimes open obscene, adult-themed websites to further pressure the user into buying the full version. Furthermore, Antivir Solution Pro blocks access to many websites claiming that the website you are trying to visit is infected. In some cases, Antivir Solution Pro may install a rootkit (a hidden Trojan). The presence of a rootkit makes removal even harder. The workaround solution also has a section on how to check your computer for the presence of a rootkit, and how to remove it if it exists.

Needless to say, you should by no means buy this fake product as not only will that not solve the problem, your credit card information may become jeopardized as it will fall in the hands of crooks.

To manually remove Antivir Solution Pro, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Back up you registry. Simply google 'how to back up registry' and follow the steps.
  2. Open Task Manager by simultaneously clicking Ctrl+Alt+Del. Locate any process that ends with 'tssd.exe'. Write down the name of this file. Close Task Manager.
  3. Click on Start > Run and type shell:Local AppData. This will bring up a folder. In this folder, locate the file from step 2 above (that ends with tssd.exe). Rename this file by changing the '.exe' to '.old', example weggbtssd.exe becomes weggbtssd.old.
  4. Restart your computer and start up your registry editor. Search the registry for any Run value pointing to the file from step 2, then delete this value (delete just the value, not the entire key).
  5. Restart your computer once more and then run a full scan with your current antivirus program.

If you are able to follow the steps above, you should be able to remove Antivir Solution Pro.

If Antivir Solution Pro has disabled your registry editor, there is another workaround solution. It will require you to download this remover onto a clear computer and transfer it to the infected computer by means of a USB thumb drive or via a network connection. The solution works around Antivir Solution Pro's ability to block programs. By following the 7 step guide, you should be able to remove Antivir Solution Pro and any Trojan that may have tagged along with it. You will also be able to restore your internet connection and run your programs without any trouble. Although the solution makes the last tow steps optional, it is highly recommended to undertake those steps to ensure that your computer is rootkit free.
