Yes, there is a big rush for this work from home business in Internet today. By this time you would have browsed through tons of websites that offers e-books and work from home packages. Once you enter affiliate marketing will you ALSO choose to market one of the work from home guides? We should agree to the fact that all of us are trying to be good at grabbing opportunity and earn our best in this market. But as a beginner "NEMO" are you really prepared to face the big WHALES out there is the real question.

The simple logic:

Why increasingly fresh affiliates are moving to market work from home products? The answer is quite simple. Traditionally, the thought of earning on your own or making part time income was possible only by referrals. Majority of it not referring a product but as such referring the business model to a person. Something like MLM model where you have your downline and uplines. This thought is still instilled in people's mind when we say marketing. So, when someone enters Internet marketing the best and easiest way that he/she finds is affiliate marketing and in particular products of work from home lures them. One main reason is because they entered this field only through one such product and promotion. So their mind is filled with thoughts of how big is "work from home" market (based on huge list of products they browsed) and I too can tap money out of that. Very LOGICAL thought.

If as a beginner you are interested in one such product just ask yourself the following questions:

how many MASTERS are behind that product already?

How many middle level affiliates will already be endorsing that product?

How long such established affiliates are in business?

Let us move into a little jargon,

How many backlinks they would have established already to their websites?

How good will be there Page ranks in top search engines?

How many different modes they use already, like social bookmarking, blogging, videos etc.,?

This thought for a moment can really set you back in your idea of marketing this so called "work from home" product. Without much of a surprise read the next section.

If it is your passion and If you have STUFF!!:

As it is always told and followed this business and for that matter anything that you take up depends on the passion that you have for that. Never mind if millions of people out there doing the same thing. Its your level of passion that will differentiate you from the rest of the crowd. If you are seriously interested in a "work from home" product never even look back that competition behind that product just enter with full confidence. But beware, just passion alone wont do you have to equip yourself with the skills required for that market. You may be confident that you can talk to people (through your website) about this product that you are marketing and you may also be good at the materials in your website. But, without the nuances of SEO, baclinks, social bookmarking, blogging you will not be able to reach a huge Internet crowd, that is what I term as knowing the STUFF.

If you have the passion, if you are attracted and feel that the product is worth then go for it. Never mind how many people are there behind the same product. Your passion along with the STUFF (that is mentioned above) will make you stand out of the crowd and YOU WILL SUCCEED in your AFFILIATE BUSINESS.
