Examples are the following:
Notification Of Payment Received
CONFIRMED, your first ClickBank Sale..
ALERTPAY: Payment Received
Where Can I Send Your Check?
These are the annoying email titles/headers which fill our inboxes. This of course is mainly from spam senders, but of late I started to notice it from not spam mail. I.e. Senders which I sent my email details to and I am on their mailing list and I agreed to receive their mail.
Of course when you click to read such email, it is only asking the reader to sign up for one their programs. This is so annoying and infuriating and in my mind very deceiving. Especially when you have an inbox full of emails. Time is limited and you have other things to get on with. I find it a cheap sales trick to get my attention and it turns me off.
I don't mind being sent emails to help me sign up to various programs, in fact I am on many mailing lists. Nevertheless, I hate (yes I hate) false email headings which just want me to look into them as a ploy to get my attention.
At first, I tolerated these types of emails, then I thought of taking action. So to those senders that send such emails with false spam email headings, I unsubscribe to their mailing list. Simple! My annoyance subsides...Peace and freedom from receiving such deceiving emails. So senders of such emails.... you know who you are... beware or you might have many others doing the same or reporting you as spamming to those trusted list building websites.
Is it just me or are there others who feel the same? Please leave a comment.
