Almighty Hugo Chavez of Venezuela Now Promises the People to Fix the Weather!

The President of Venezuela appears to be taking a play out of the Chinese Play Book on weather control and modification. If you will recall the Chinese promised perfect weather for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and although it was not perfect, they got lucky half the time. But now that Venezuela is in a drought he promises the people he'll change the weather too, on top of all the other already unfulfilled promises he's made previously.

You see, Hugo Chavez, Venezuela's President will seed the clouds with chemicals, and make it rain. Unfortunately, cloud-seeding if not done exactly right can cause massive flooding, and we've experienced this in the US as we attempted to seed clouds. The reality is that recently the Chinese tried to seed the clouds in Beijing and they ended up with piles of snow everywhere shutting down the airport and brining surface traffic to a standstill, at a time when the heating gas had not yet been turned on.

According to WikiPedia, and I rarely quote such, but this is interesting; "The Beijing Weather Modification Office is a unit of the Beijing Meteorological Bureau tasked with weather control in the capital city and in its surrounding areas, including parts of Hebei and Inner Mongolia," and these are the same folks which caused the massive snow storm in the capital city of China.

The moral of the story is that mankind cannot adequately control the weather yet, and although they often try it normally ends in disaster and then they cannot turn it off. Flooding, ice, and snow storms prevail, along with dangerous lightning and thunderstorms. It will be very unfortunate for the Venezuelan people as their new dictator in chief attempts to fix the drought and weather there, then duly floods out both rich and poor. Please consider all this.
