You lied all the time till we got married
It was necessitated but hurried
I made a blunder and not queried
I stood under the sun and cried

All your promises stood hollow
They were useless and I did no follow
I was blinded by your quality as snake charmer

You showed your color at an appointed hour
I never expected it may turn sour
