Not only is soy wax good for our country, but it's great for our planet. Soy beans are a renewable resource and soy wax, unlike paraffin wax, produces very little soot. Besides the obvious environmental benefits of soy wax, these all natural candles have excellent burning properties that far surpass those of paraffin. Soy wax is said to burn up to 50% longer than paraffin candles. It has a better scent throw than paraffin candles. That is to say, it disperses to fragrance into the air far more effectively than paraffin candles.
All natural candles are a necessary choice. The more petroleum based products we use, the more reasons the oil companies are given to continue to pollute our earth. A simple switch to a better, more responsible product such as all natural candles can really make a difference. Whether you go with beeswax, palm wax or soy wax, any of these options are better than paraffin wax. Besides being a more responsible decision, it simply makes more sense economically. Think about it - paraffin is one choice. All natural candles are 3 choices.
