Let's talk a little about Aion leveling guides. Are they really useful or necessary? Some people think so, some don't. Personally, I like them. Even though Aion Online is not a hard game, I don't have weeks and weeks of time required to level up high enough just to be able to see how the end game looks. I like the fact that I can level my characters two or three times faster because I always know where to go to find good quests, and I'm sure I always have the best equipment possible for my level.

It may sound pretty easy to figure out yourself but it's not. It takes awhile to find the proper ways to upgrade your items and it's kinda sad to see people using gear ten levels below their level. Having the right equipment is crucial for fast killing of monsters in Aion and you should aim to have the best available.

Anyway, these leveling guides basically hold your hand through levels and explain in detail every quest you will complete and guide you through them with maps, coordinates, screenshots etc. I often find quests where I need to find a specific item, and while there is a very useful "Locate" function available it only shows the general area of the object and not the exact location. Spending 30 minutes finding a stupid little cube in some mine is really not my definition of having fun, know what I mean.

I got myself one of those leveling guides a few weeks ago and it was really useful. I'm really glad I found it, it saved me a bunch of time. I've done some research since then and found several other guides which I didn't check myself, but according to some websites such most aren't as good as the one I got. So anyways I recommend you read some reviews on those sites before you buy any of these guides. It's the nature of MMORPG games they change over time and it's important to have an updated leveling guide with the best info possible, so don't just blindly spend your money on something sub-standard. You'll thank me later!
