However, what is more of a concern are the problems that are faced by the internet advertising rather than anything more. These two methods have their own shortcomings that stand like obstacles in their way of success.

The major problem that most businesses or companies face is the rule of going by keywords. You can never run a website on the dependence of keywords only. If the keywords manage to find the correct viewers, it can take your business to new limits but if it does not then your efforts and money will go for waste. In short, your whole advertising campaign will take your business nowhere.

Making your internet advertising strategies only from the point of view of the industry then you may never be able to cater the general public. Advertising should be done keeping a customer in mind and how would he/she search for a product on the internet. Not everybody these days are familiar with technical terms. Like if you are looking a professional bar back and looking for a job (bartender) then would search using this keyword. But, somebody new to the industry or a commoner would not think in the same manner, he would simply type in "bartender jobs" or jobs of bartender". So, it's more important to market your product or services according to the customer rather than putting your own perspective further. Then only you can succeed in selling your product.

But, if your targeted viewers are industry specific then using technical terms is advisable which will represent your knowledge and professionalism. In fact, clients from the industry deal mostly in the same platform and find it more convenient communicating with these terminologies. For example, if you are into offshore software development business and looking for clients who are looking for professionals and companies to offshore their business then they would prefer using terminologies to search for their off shoring companies and refine their search as well.

Every situation is different depending upon the business you are running. So, you should as per your services and products keeping in mind who are your future clients - commoners or industry people. Try not mixing both because it will only ruin your business prospects and waste all your hard earned money. In other terms, you will end up with a failure in your hands.
