Achieving Bridal Fitness The Easy Way

Expert Author Suzanne Dansereau

So, you've managed to get that beautiful ring on your finger and have found the perfect dress for your special day. Now comes the time when you need to start whipping your body into shape so you are looking your best on the day of the wedding. Bridal fitness is a very important part of the wedding planning process since all women want to look the best they can when they walk down the isle to meet their soon to be husbands.

The biggest decision at this stage is determining when it is that you need to begin your new diet and exercise regimen. The most direct answer you will find is that you should start right now, don't delay. It is also something you should continue to do long after you have said your vows on that special day.

Diet seems to be the hardest aspect of bridal fitness to keep under control. Don't opt for one of the calorie cutting diets here either. Instead, cut back on overly processed foods, high fat content and sugar.

Try eating healthy natural foods like fruits and vegetables instead. Foods like this provide us with plenty of energy to get through the wedding planning process and all us to burn off unwanted fat at the exact same time. It can help clear your complexion, make your hair shinier and provide an overall improvement to your health as well.

As for the exercise portion of all this, you need to focus on both strength training and cardio if you want fast results. When it comes to the cardio you should break it up into intervals since this has been proven to show better results and burn fat much faster. Do this at least 3 to 4 times per week and you will be well on your way.

Weight lifting can also help burn fat and because of this it becomes probably the most important part of your entire workout. It can boost your metabolism and tone muscles on top of helping you drop off the weight. The more intense the moves during all this the more calories you will burn with each individual workout.

By starting to work toward your weight loss goal right now you can remove a lot of the stress that comes from trying to do it quickly when the wedding is only a few weeks away. Without the added stress you can relax much more and your workouts will become much more productive.
