Google is an internet giant that moves much of the web traffic on a minute by minute basis. A billion dollar per year business, they have a good method for distributing information and delivering visitors to the appropriate site. They have one of the best names in the market and it is because of their great programs that allow businesses to advertise relatively inexpensive. Ad word ads are great ways to get the word out and put the opportunity to those that may be looking for just that product or service.

Ad word ads are short advertisements that are placed in respective areas based on keywords or phrases that individuals search for. When a web surfer is looking for the term "golf" they will come up with thousands of hits based on the word golf. Along the side bar of the search engine there are many ads that have one or two lined text advertisements. These companies have bid for placement and in hopes that the surfer will choose their advertisement to click on. Since these spots are bid on they can sometimes be difficult to get good placement, especially on a limited budget.

Having the correct keywords is the key to success, just about as much as the budget itself. If the keywords are not relevant or what surfers are searching for, business will be diverted to another site. It is important to do the research on the appropriate keywords and choose them accordingly. These phrases and words are the backbone of the business, so keep that in mind as you market.
