Bridal showers signify the last days of a bride to be's bachelor life. it is usually organized by close friends or family. These parties are usually exclusive and fun.
The things you need to include at a bridal shower depends on what the organizer thinks fit. An extravagant bridal shower will require more supplies and props then the usual party with only drinks.
Bridal shower invitations are optional - as these events are usually for close friends only, word of mouth is quite sufficient - but should you decide to use them, various designs can be adopted. Some designs depict the typical romantic wedding setting while other border on the more mischievous. Again, depending on how formal or informal the get-together will be, almost anything is an acceptable image for the bridal shower invitation, even animation.
The few items you should include in your bridal shower supplies are decors, dinnerware and favors. To make the shower more interesting, have a themed one. The theme can be closely related to that of the wedding itself. To make your bridal shower complete, you can have banners, hats, tendrils, flowers (of course!) and balloons. To match the dinnerware with your theme is really not necessary but you want to, let it go with the designs on the invitation cards.
To get the look for your party, have all the decoration's color matching. Lousy coordination of colors will make your party give others headache. Make sure you have all the important supplies such as balloons, flowers and table cloth. You can also get balloons with custom design and messages like "She's Getting Married" or stuffs similar to that. It can also have impetuous messages printed to flaunt that humorous side of you.
To give out favors for a bridal shower is not imperative. Favors are usually given for a shower with big budgets. Even if you do give out shower favors, they are usually small things that are not in any way associated with the wedding itself. They are ordinary decorative things like hand phone danglers, table runners and coasters. They are just there to make the guest feel good about attending the party.
The highlight of anniversaries would be the 60th wedding anniversary. Made popular by Queen Victoria, the anniversary is symbolized by diamond. For this reason, it is also called the Diamond Jubilee. According to the Greeks, diamond has a significant meaning to marriage. It means enduring and unconquerable. This reflects the strong relation between the couple. The fire that helps produce diamond are also to emblem the passion shared by these two people.
Plenty of stuff can be given as presents for a Diamond Jubilee anniversary. As this is an event that we rarely come by, we can try to give presents that include diamonds. Things like bracelet, pendants and tiepins with diamonds make great gifts. Even photo frames with diamond studs are also welcomed. The color theme would be diamond white and the flowers and bouquets can also be in this color. Even for a present, they will make superb gift.
Other anniversary gifts may include a photo montage of the family tree depicting the sixty years as a family. The special couple's photo can be highlighted in the middle, surrounded by pictures of other members of the family including the wedding photos of their children and grandchildren. This can be a beautiful memoir of their sixty years of marriage. Other anniversary gifts can be a holiday for two to a beautiful resort or city, or if that is too extravagant, a nice, exclusive dinner at a beautiful restaurant where the restaurant can be informed beforehand of the occasion and possibly supply more celebratory elements, like singing waiters or diamond-shaped cupcakes for two.
In a western culture, couples usually light up wedding unity candles as a symbol for their commitment to marriage and one another. These beautiful candles can also be given away as souvenirs for the guests.
Naturally, unity candle sets come in threes, consisting two smaller candles and one big one, and are commonly white or ivory-colored. Other unity candles may be some other pastel hues. Candles can be engraved with bridal couple's names or meaningful, significant phrases such as "Forever" or "Love Always". However, there are unity candle sets stamped with more unconventional and potentially comical phrases like "Finally Married (date)". These make terrific wedding souvenirs as they can be displayed over and over again at every anniversary that follows.
Unity candles holder comes in a variety of design. There are some that resembles heart shape, circular pattern, ring shape and cross. During the ceremony, the candles may be placed flat on the table or raised by its holder. Sometime, couples want to give the candle a floating effect by putting them on glass transparent holders.
