A Tribute to the Man in the Mirror

There is no doubt in my mind that there will never be another pop music singer that can beat the success of Michael Jackson. It was not only his voice that made him famous, it was also the songs he sang. These songs were about love, freedom, friends, family and many other topics that the world loved to hear about.

On the 25th June 2009, the world was about to receive the news of Michael Jackson's death. Only at that time could we have realized how many people really loved this singer. There have been cases of fans coming suicide because they wanted to be "reunited" with their idol in the after-life. Apparently, the singer had died after combining different drugs and so there are many theories: some speak of natural death, others speak of suicide and there are also people that claim it was murder. If indeed it was murder, the prime suspect is Conrad Murray, his physician and the person that prescribed him all his pills.

Michael's death right before the "This Is It" concert series led to the heavy selling of is music. Every souvenir, poster, badge, T-shirt, anything with Michael Jackson's name or face printed on it would not last in stores more than 24 hours. The public memorial was held at the Staples Center, located in L.A. - California. This was the place where Michael Jackson had rehearsed 2 days before his death. Leaving a river of tears behind and the memory of one of greatest singers this world has ever seen, I am pretty sure that even when the years have passed, true Michael Jackson fans will remember to sing his songs as if they had just heard them.
