I - Initiate Positive Discussions If you look back, you may find that for the last several months all the conversations between you and your ex have deteriorated into arguments. Although arguments can help to clear the air, if every discussion you two have is an argument, there isn't much chance for you two to enjoy each other's company. Decide, before you make contact with your ex, that this conversation is not going to turn into an argument. Take a deep breath and stay calm. S - Smile to the Mirror The best thing you can do after a breakup is find ways to feel good about yourself.
