So everybody associates Saturdays with parties, dancing, drinking, and generally going out with friends. Since when do Saturday evenings have to be wild in cities? Who came up with this tradition?
I was thinking of this issue one typical Saturday evening - just walked out of a long bath with bubbles and relaxing music- when somebody ringed on my door. When I opened the door, there were my friends, all dressed up, with their stunning make-up and stylish hair. They came to convince me to go and party with them. First, I didn't have any intention of listening them, but they were so much in the mood to dance and to spend a girls evening out that I let myself convinced and finally, we went out. As we stepped in a club, I was fascinated by the energy and pleasant atmosphere that was there. In such circumstances, I gained courage and mood to party. And we danced all the night with the girls, we drank Cosmopolitans and we met some really sweet guys! And suddenly I realized that if I had said no to this party, I would be sitting on my couch, sipping my tea and watching some movie where the people would be partying. But this evening was different. This evening I was the girl from the movies. I was the one who had perfect curly hair and a shiny dress. I was the one who didn't have boring evenings anymore. And I felt great!
Later that night, when we were preparing to go home, a guy asked me if he can walk with me. So I had a pleasant company until my doorsteps. Before I entered my home, he gave me his phone number.
When I went to bed, I realized that the Saturday evenings in the city aren't the way they look, they are the way you want them to be. If you want, you can have crazy, wild, sweet or romantic evenings. The important thing is to take advantage of these evenings!
