The new Mindflex Game by Mattel has certainly caused a stir of late.

It is not often that such an unusual game comes along and this is actually the first game of its type. It is about as close to having telekinetic powers as many of us are ever likely to come. We have here a game where the purpose it to use our powers of concentration to move a ball around a course.

The course is very flexible and has over a hundred combinations so it can be set up for beginners or made harder for those who have some experience with the game. A headset is put on at the beginning and this is going to be reading our brainwave patterns. By concentrating really hard we are now able to move the ball up in the air. If we relax our concentration then the ball will lower.

Once mastered it is amazing to see. The ball is made to rise and pass through hoops or even a tunnel or made to lower to go under obstacles. There really is nothing like it on the market and it is certainly at the fore of a new wave of games that are going to be in a similar style.

It has also shown a marked improvement in children who find it hard to concentrate for any level of time. As they practice to get better at the game their concentration levels are greatly improved. This is often hard to teach but the game makes a good job of helping them to improve. With so many games to choose from there is certainly a lot to be said for the mindflex game by mattel.
