You have been eating right and doing your exercises during the week and you deserve to take a break during the weekend. You may treat yourself every now and then but if you do not do it in moderation, you will start to gain back those pounds during the weekend. Here are 8 tips that will prevent you from gaining weight during the weekend:

1. Buy healthy food in advance. If you wake up Saturday morning and there's nothing in your refrigerator you may be tempted to order some fast food. It is wise to check your food supplies on Friday morning and if needed pick something up on your way back from work.

2. Get ready for Saturday night. If you plan on going out with your friends for a "not so healthy dinner" don't eat as much as you used to during the day and most importantly, do not skip any meals. Otherwise your body will starve and this leads to overeating..

3. Review your weekly progress. Even though you believe you have been good all week, it may be a good idea to check your food diary in order to see if there are any areas that need improvement.
