5. Flex development costs lot of money. When there are news in the industry of Flex being free and will be soon released as open source this myth of course makes no sense. A person would be charged only for the cost of Flex developer for developing the rich internet application.

6. Special server is required for Flex applications to be fully functional. The truth is they do not need dedicated server they can run on top of any web server, database server and application server.

7. Flex is comparatively difficult to learn. It is in fact very easy to learn one can start working on it even without any prior knowledge.
