6 Pack Abs - They Can Be Yours If You Really Want Them

How badly do you want to have 6 pack abs? Do you dream about having the kind of abs that your pals will envy and that members of the other sex will desire you for? The only person who can give you 6 pack abs is you and you have to do a lot more than dream about them. In fact, you have to be prepared to put in a lot of effort to get 6 pack abs, but you can be assured that your hard work will be worth it.

The reason that only a few people can boast of having 6 pack abs is that not everybody is willing to put in the effort that is required to get them. Most people prefer to depend upon some miracle pill or gadget and it is no surprise to learn that they are soon disappointed. Only a person who has a proper game plan and has the dedication and discipline to carry it through till the end will be able to transform his or her slack abdominal muscles to 6 pack abs.

If your abdominal muscles need some working on, you should include crunches in your exercise routine. Most people stop at that, however, which is a big mistake. You should add hanging leg rises to your routine. You could also try out belly dancing or hip hop dancing in order to add variety and spice to your exercise while giving your abs a thorough work out.

You cannot hope to make any progress if you don't have a good cardio plan. Get plenty of endurance training but add interval training as well so that your body gets pushed to its limits. Change your cardio routine often so that it doesn't get boring and you can vary the intensity of your exercise as well.

This exercise routine will only work if you have a good diet that cuts out all superfluous calories that come in the form of extra carbohydrates and fats. Drink lots of water and eat foods that are not processed in order to lose weight fast so that your abdominal muscles can come to prominence.
