Is 5Linx legit or just another scam?
That is a question that many people are asking, so today my goal is to reveal the truth to you. In order to make the right decision, let's look over a few things.
Who is 5Linx?
In 2001, 5Linx was founded by 3 leaders with a vision for the future. The founders of the company are Craig Jerabeck (President & CEO), Jason Gulk (Executive Vice President of Sales), and Jeb Tyler (Executive Vice President of Marketing). 5Linx was rewarded as being one of the Top 100 Companies in their home town of Rochester, NY. Telecommunications is the industry that 5Linx specializes in. The company is providing individuals the opportunity to communicate through their flagship product, CU-3000 video phone. Here are a few stats on 5Linx:
1) Recognized by INC. 500 for 4 years in a row
2) Featured on NBC (I'll talk about this later)
3) Market expands across 20 countries
4) Many individuals are jumping on board as representatives
Now the question you have to ask yourself is if this brief information makes them a legitimate opportunity? Before you answer there's more. What was the NBC news clip about? Was it good or bad? Well this NBC news clip talked about 5Linx being one of the fastest growing companies in the country according to Inc. Magazine. They also talked about the video phone produced by Globalinx (a 5Linx company). So with all this information you would think it's a good opportunity to join, but there's a little more information you need to know.
Many representatives are struggling in 5Linx. What do I mean by this? Well let me first say that 5Linx is not a scam. They are in fact a good company. The biggest problem is the 97% who fail to build their business. Why such a large failure rate, and what will it take to turn that around.
Why the 97% failure rate?
The answer to this question is simple. The reason 97% fail is because they aren't being taught how to build the business properly. What am I talking about? When you get involved with 5Linx you are told to:
1) Make a list of all your friends and family
2) Purchase a list of names and phone numbers (leads)
3) Go to the weekly Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday hotel meetings
4) Pass out promotional material
5) Market a company replicated website (worst of them all)
This is the fastest way to join the NFL (no friends left), and the fastest way to go broke. If you want to be successful in 5Linx pay close attention to what I am about to say. PEOPLE DON'T JOIN 5Linx (OR THIS INDUSTRY) BECAUSE OF THE COMPANY OR THEIR PRODUCTS! PEOPLE JOIN PEOPLE! I hope you got that! Let me put that in a different way. If you approach me about a opportunity, I might like what I hear but I might not want to work with you. See most people in 5Linx want to overwhelm you with all this information upfront, and they run their prospects away. But what happens when the prospect goes home? They log onto the internet and research the company (what you're doing right now, LOL). Then as they are gathering information they find some of the most successful people in 5Linx. The Leaders!
People want to work with leaders...PERIOD! If you want to be successful in 5Linx, you have to present yourself as a leader. Stop sending your prospects to company replicated sites. You need to be different from the 97% if you want to join the top 3%! It doesn't matter if you're new or if you've been with 5Linx since they started. You need to become a person of value in your prospects eyes. So now that we have determined that 5Linx is a legitimate business, if you want to get involved go ahead. But remember what I said. BECOME THE LEADER PEOPLE WANT TO WORK WITH! You will have a greater chance at success!
