There are a lot of shady scams out there and believe me I know because I have lost over $3000 trying to make money with no help from my sponsors. The problem is that a lot of so called money making opportunities have upline members which are just out for themselves like MLM or Network Marketing and in certain businesses are just concerned with making money and not helping their downline. So what actually happens is that they end up making a few sales then quitting because they are not helping you and I to make money! So they are not helping themselves either.

There are Scams and then there are just lazy upline sponsors. I am now pleased to say with 5 years online experience, I can spot this kind of greed based business straight off. In simple terms you want to make money that is the bottom line and also help others do the same right. The great news is that I can now give you some tips to avoiding getting scammed.

1) Look out for false promises of riches overnight. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.  It is really not possible to simply get rich quick unless you get unusual luck and i would rather secure my future for the longterm wouldn't you?

2) Look for testimonials of proof of earnings from actual results shown.  Make sure you can contact the person promoting it because if he/she is genuine they will have no problem answering any questions you may have.  This is a good indication that regular people like you and I can actually make money with the program.  Although be warned that earnings shown are not always typical.  Look at reviews online of the product.

3) Look for guarantees and refunds if you are not happy with the product.  You as the customer have a right to a refund no questions asked and usually if the product is good then the guarantee of refund may be as long a year so make they sure have 100% of the risk not you.

 4) Search for reviews of the products on Google before purchasing i have said this twice because it is so important! This has saved me thousands of dollars. There are lot's of reviews from honest people who will help you avoid losing money.  Just go to Google and search for the product name and add review then search, but be aware that some affiliates will advertise their business as a review to get you to join.  So ensure you find an independent review.

5) Read as many free e-books and reports as you can to get an idea of what the procedure is when starting out promoting products/services. Seriously you can find many free things to help you learn all areas of Marketing and Advertising.  The more you know in any area the better your chances are of great rewards. Just by following these simple tips you can save yourself a lot of stress, time and money not to say hair loss ok!;)

I really hope this has helped you feel more confident on finding the right online business for you. Remember not to be seduced by the promise of a Million Dollars in two months! It is possible however make $100k+ in one year with the right coaching and the right system.
