5 Quick Office Workouts For You

Expert Author Baolin Liu

Staying fit at the office is not as difficult as you think. Sure, it will take some effort in your part, but not a great deal as you may imagine. These simple office exercises can help you improve blood circulation and will give you that extra boost to finish your work at the office.

1. The march in place.

Surprisingly easy as it sounds, marching in place for just a few minutes at a time will definitely get the blood flowing in your legs after sitting down in a chair for so long.

2. The Desk Push

Sitting in your chair, lean over your table and pretend as if you are pushing yourself up from your chair. This is a static workout that can work wonders for you if you do them often enough.

3. The scissor kick

Sitting in your chair, stick your two legs out and kick them up and down in a scissor like motion to workout those legs. Use your arms to hold onto the arm rest for support.

4. Arm Circles

Stick your arms out and twirl them in little circles while sitting in your chair. You can do them either forwards or backwards, depending on how you feel. Either way, you are getting a workout doing it.

5. Arm Raise

Try to lift yourself up from your chair with your arms by pressing hard on the arm rest. Once you lifted yourself up, hold that position for as long as you can before you gently put yourself down.
