Often times when starting out, newbie marketers are trying to figure out how to go about getting traffic to their blog or website.
This list of strategies will get you on your way fast to generating leads overnight.
1. Blogging- Create a an amazing blog post with so much value that your readers can't take their eyes off of it. So create a post that solves a problem or gives some newbie marketer an AHA! moment. (Don't forget to include a picture in the blog post, people eyes are attracted to pictures)
2. Create an article- From the same blog post create an article. That means you have to "pretty" it up and make it polished for the article directories to approve it. Submit article to at least 5 article directories. A few are EzineArticles.com, Articlebase.com, or Goarticles.com
3. Make a video- Make a video about the post/article and upload to YouTube. Make sure to have your keywords in the title, and at least twice throughout the description. Put a link back to your blog post in the description as well.
4. Ping it-Ping all the url's that you just created. So that means the blog post url, article url's, YouTube url's. Some awesome pinging sites are http://www.Pingoat.net, Pingler.com, and Ping.in
5. Share it- Now this is the fun part, telling people about your content. Once you create your content, you want it to go viral. So share them on Facebook, Twitter, stumbleupon, reddit. Do this for all of the content you just created, even the video.
Bonus: Now here is a tip that is so explosive, but hardly anybody does it. Send a message to your list of subscribers with a link to the blog post, and ask them a question pertaining to the blog post, then ask them to answer the question in the comments section. This is creating social proof!! When people comment on your blog it is creating a buzz, and showing that your content is worth reading.
