5 Foods to Lower Blood Sugar - Is it Possible?

Flaxseed: The flaxseed cereal is a wonderful source of phytochemicals and Omega-3 fatty acids. The seeds are low in carbohydrates, thereby extending the role of lowering blood sugar. The cholesterol level is also pulled down to normalcy. These are the reasons why flaxseed is treated as a good diabetic diet food.

Nuts: When it comes to consuming fruits, the role of nuts is great which many people don't realize. Some of the fruits are good for control of diabetes. The effect is doubled when the nuts are consumed along with fruits or exclusively as medicinal source which many do not care for out of ignorance. As the nuts contain good fats and proteins, a diabetic can get sustained energy by consuming as a medicinal food.

Fruits: It's wrong to assume that fruits are bad as they contain high sugar. Of course, it may be true but not as a whole. There are fruits with high medicinal effect for controlling diabetes. It is not exaggerating to claim that eating an apple on daily basis can keep the doctor off the door.
