5 Fast Weight Loss Secrets

There are a number of thing you can do for fast weight loss. Obviously this is just a short list and does not represent a comprehensive weight loss plan. Still, these five steps can go along way in beginning your "battle of the bulge."

Junk Food
First and foremost, you need to get rid of the junk food. Really, it's no loss. You just don't need the fat and calories from potato chips, corn chips, cheese doodles and popcorn. It's not that you can never eat this stuff; it's just that you need to limit yourself while you are losing weight.

Fruits and Vegetables
Generally you can eat as much of these vitamin rich foods that are filled with water as you like. These will help fill you up so that you don't feel like snacking on crap. They also contain a tremendous amount of fiber that is beneficial to your digestion. Fiber is also an important element is fighting colon cancer.

Sort Drinks
Just do away with these. It's no secret that they are either filled with high fructose corn syrup (it's not even sugar any more) or some foul tasting chemical substitute. I know people who drink 2 or 3 quarts of this swill a day. Drink sparkling water, fruit juices and sports drinks instead. It is vitally important to your health that you always keep well hydrated. I'm not saying that you need to drink 8 twelve ounce glasses of water a day, but you really do need to drink more water than you are right now.

Breakfast
I know a lot of people skip this step and fast before lunch but breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. It sets the beginning of your day and balances your insulin levels in your body. A lot of people just have coffee and a donut for this meal and it sends their sugar levels through the roof. Have a whole-grain cereal or some nice flavored oatmeal and a hard boiled egg instead.

Exercise
I know this is where I am going to lose a lot of people but even moderate exercise is incredibly helpful for fast weight loss. Try some tai-chi, or Pilates. Join a fast walking club and chat with your friends at the local mall while working off some of that weight.
