And once you know what they really want, you can give it to them.

2. Now that you have done your research and have gone to the popular blogs and forums to discover what people really need, it's time for you to get in front of these people. To do this, I suggest that you create a simple webpage where people will have the opportunity to opt-in to your mailing list. Now, your page should definitely not include any other links. It should only have your opt-in form. The reason I am stressing this is because your conversion rates will go down drastically if you do include any other links on your squeeze page.

3. Since list building is about finding people who are interested in what you have to offer and getting them to join your list, you should focus on providing great content. What good is having a list of people who don't even like you? That's why I recommend that you use only those marketing methods that deliver high quality leads. These methods are article writing, e-zine writing, newsletter publishing and social media.

4. Showcase your expertise. The best thing that you can do when creating your squeeze page is to make sure it covers everything you are going to teach them. Your page should include a great title and a list of benefits they will receive once they join your list. Make sure that your title only expresses what you will actually teach them.
