The next time you need to create a landing page, why not make it a video landing page? They are easy to do if you do them right. Here are 3 things every video landing page needs.
1. Who are you? - Introduce yourself, and do it with a smile. If you aren't personable people aren't going to buy from you. If you are trying to sell your name as the actual brand, you might think about putting your name in text on the screen.
2. State a problem, then give the solution - In the video, mention one problem that viewers might have. You should base this problem around a keyword that you researched earlier. Say for example your keywords were "list building". You could say something like this:
"Are you having problems retaining subscribers to your list? Well, make sure you aren't stuffing products into every newsletter you send out. Build trust by giving out free, relevant information and every once in a while suggest something they might be interested in buying."
3. The offer - Tell them what you are offering. And tell them that they will be able to solve their problem with your product or service. You may want to test out a few versions here. You could try letting the viewer know what the price is. However, if you do this, they might decide right then and there. Most Internet marketers don't put the price on their videos. Feel free to test out different approaches.
