If you are actively building your MLM business online you are always looking for the best way to generate more traffic. There are endless ways to generate traffic. The big thing to remember is there is no one silver bullet for traffic. Consistency always gets the prize.

The first detail you must remember when generating traffic is to focus on one type until you get proficient at it. For example if you decide to start with pay per click advertising concentrate on that until you have some sort of results. Once you feel like you can do it in your sleep then move on to use another type of traffic generation.

Tip # 1: Track and test everything you do.

This is the most important tip you could use in your marketing. But, it is also the hardest one for people to use and implement. For some reason people just want to start marketing. They do not want to take the time to set up a tracking link.

If you are not tracking your marketing you do not know what is working and what is not. With tracking you are able to put more money in the marketing that brings in the best traffic. You can save money and shut off the marketing that is not performing well.

Testing further helps you hone in the best traffic. The first thing you should always test in your marketing is your headline. Only run two tests at a time and make sure you test it with at least 300 clicks to get more accurate results.

Tip #2: Create a "traffic foundation" in your marketing efforts.

When you are learning to generate traffic you want to keep it to one at a time. But, as you get proficient you want to create a foundation. Generate traffic from as many sources as possible so you have in a way an insurance plan. For example if you only focus on pay per click advertising and google changes their rules you could go down in one day. If you have multiple sources of traffic this would not wipe out your only traffic source. You would just have to focus on the other types if this happened.

Tip #3: It is not about the quantity of traffic.

The key in generating traffic is about the quality rather than the quantity. Yes, you want a huge quantity of quality leads. Just focus on the quality part first. You want to target people who are looking for you. These are the people who are looking for a change in their lives and want to start a business. Once you learn how to get quality traffic you can increase the quantity!

Remember that it may take some time to get your traffic to the quantity and quality that you want on a daily basis.
