3 More Expert Networking Secrets Revealed

Expert Author J. H. Lee

I am pleased that you are reading this article and as I continue on my business networking journey, I'd also like to assist and help you as you continue on yours. The following information will be another valuable rung in your business networking ladder.

Networking is a different experience for everyone and we all have our own unique motivations. When it comes down to the basics, it should be a fun journey that helps you to make advancements in your career and achieve your goals.

I say "fun journey" because I enjoy meeting new people, forming new bonds, and being educated directly. There is no teacher like experience but when you meet people and they educate you about their field of expertise, it can be fascinating and is the next best thing to actual experience.

So, I continue to work on growing my network and enjoying every minute of it. There is always something new right around the horizon when it comes to people. With every new personality, there comes a new possibility.

There is also a continuous opportunity to share what I have learned as it may help to enlighten others. Below, are 3 more expert networking secrets;

1. Outsource your online social networking tasks.

I was asked recently, does online social networking do anything for your business? My reply was, "It depends on what your business goals are" I'll leave it at that but if you would like to increase your online contact base, here's a way to do it;

Create 5-10 introductory e-mails that you would send to an individual you want to connect with. Hire a person to search for your target clients and send them a contact request. Everyone won't reply but those who do, you can reply to directly. So, your contacts will grow.

2. Form Joint Venture Partnerships with others in your industry.

A joint venture is a great application of business networking. It is a clever way to get leverage if your business is just starting for struggling. Locate another business or individual who caters to the same market as you. If they have a following of clients, have them offer your product or service to their clients.

The catch, is that you will give 80%-100% of the revenue/profit to them. You will make your money on the back-end by capturing their clients information. Therefore, some of their clients, who take you up on the offer, will become yours. Just be sure you have something to offer on the back-end.

3. Host your own event and invite a center of influence to be the guest speaker.

Connecting with a center of influence in your industry can open many doors for you. It is better when the individual is motivated to work with you. A great motivator for your chosen target is to host an event that caters to their favorite charity.

Yes, this could be a lot of work but if you can accomplish this, you will have an opportunity to speak directly with this influential person. They may not have paid attention to you otherwise but now there's no excuse. I do suggest however, that you have something worth their time.
