Affiliate marketing is a great way to make some extra cash on the internet, you can also make a full time living if you put the effort into it. I find it funny when new internet marketers email me with the same question "I have tried affiliate marketing, but I am still not making any money", I ask them what exactly they have done and I get this reply "I put up a website with a page and an affiliate link, then waited for a sale". Like any other business, whether it be online or offline, you will see results based on how hard you are willing to work.

Test different niches before creating a full blown website. All you have to do is create a free webpage with a well written product review, then write 10 articles on the product to submit to the article directories, make sure to add a link to your free webpage in the article resource box.

If you have tried earning in a certain niche for a while, and you aren't seeing any results, try a different niche. Some topics on the internet are just not as good as others, some niches are just not good for product promotion. There are many different niches to choose from, so expand your horizons.

A website and an affiliate link are important, but you wont get any clicks without traffic. The average conversion rate for an affiliate product is 1%, so that means out of 100 clicks, you will get a sale, so if you got 100 clicks a day you could earn about 500$ a month, see where this is going?
