1. The first thing you should do when you start is have a think about what your goals and plans are, write them down be realistic but push yourself at the same time because you want to become successful right!

2. You will need to get busy straight away, you can't wait around for things to happen for you because you need to make it happen.

3. Consider your MLM/network marketing business like a full-time job and with effort from you, you can make it one.

4. It's not always a good idea to look for people who claim they can bring in any amount of people, yeah that would be great but it is not always a good idea.

5. You have to expect rejection, it is just the way it goes and remember that not every person is going to want what you a giving, but don't be disheartened and forget your goals just keep going forward because there are millions out there that want what you have.

6. Make sure you do the following up as this is where you get the people to come on board, it's very important, because most people never call back, but if you follow up and call them back and show them you care and want to help them, then they will join you.

7. Have patience, because big amounts of money wont come in one day, and if you are working outside of the home in a job your time will be even more limited and if this is so it might take you longer to get to were you want to be with your income but eventually you will be able to leave your job and work from home all the time.

8. You need to be honest with the leads you bring in, don't fool them into thinking that they start today and in a weeks time they will be a millionaire, just be honest with them.

9. You need to keep remembering that you will need to invest in your business. The same as a business outside of the home, you will need to invest in certain tools to make it all happen, but they are well worth it and don't cost a fortune.

10. You should not allow people or things in your life to make you give up on your online business, the only way you won't succeed is if you quit.

11. Stop yourself from thinking that if you send a few emails to your gonna get a truck load of checks to your door, most of the time it takes several months to build a continuous income.

12. Anyone that does decide to join you give them all the help they need, show them you care about them and want to get them off to the best start possible, don't forget your trying to build a team and a business not just a down line.

Let your reps do the things they need to be doing and avoid doing it for them, being a team leader and helping them is one thing but you can not be running their business as well, remember whatever you do your down line will do as well, just be a good leader and ask yourself are you the leader that you would want to be under?.

14. It would be wise to not let yourself be drawn towards negative people, because these type of people will bombard you with negative questions and expect you to do all the work for them. Your going to want fun people in your team that are hungry to succeed and reach their goals.

15. Try not to contact your up line every time you have a "scratch your head moment" learn from the training they give you.

16. Make sure and conduct your business professionally, don't be telling people you've made thousands in the last few months when you really have not, your honesty with your leads is the main thing so you have trust between you.

17. Soak in everything that your being thought, try to learn as much as you can about the main leaders in the industry and keep your leads to yourself and don't pass them on to somebody else, it's you that needs to sign them right!.

18. Ask yourself where you want to be in 5 years time?, and set your sights high and you will reach them.

19. Be constantly in contact with whoever you've sponsored and make them aware that you will help them when they need you, compliment them when they achieve things, they would always be delighted if they got an email from you every time they get someone in their down line.

20. During follow up phone calls make sure and be in a positive mood so the other person will sense this and feel the same.

21. To duplicate in the network marketing business is a main aspect and if you do figure out new ideas, pass them around the rest of your team and try build on your business.

22. Organization is a key, so even if you only write the details down of the people sampling your products, or maybe want to start but there not really sure yet, you should still keep their details.

23. Get self motivating tapes, free ones on the internet or you buy them they will help you a lot as time goes by.
