20 Ways to Lose Weight Without Going on a Diet

There are many ways to lose weight, but for some reason we have the idea that going on a diet and starving ourselves is the only way to get that slim body we want so much. For those of you that would like to shed some pounds with starving yourself, here are a few tips on how to lose weight without going on a diet!
- When you feel hungry between meals, chew celery as it burns a lot of calories, or just eat some fresh fruit.
- Make sure you eat three meals a day at the same time, and don't forget breakfast because it increases the rate of burning calories.
- Try to stand while talking on the phone or watching TV, and don't control TV using the remote, get up and go to it instead.
- Use the stairs instead of the elevator whenever you can.
- Smoking does NOT reduce weight. If you are a smoker, quit smoking immediately and take up a sport you enjoy,you will notice the difference in your health and skin.
- Get used to drinking tea/coffee without sugar.
- Start eating low-fat cheese and skimmed milk, they taste the same anyways.
- If you enjoy drinking hot chocolate or cocoa, then purchase the types that do not contain sugar or additional materials.
- Beware of canned foods as they contain many calories. The sodium used to preserve them also hinders the process of digestion severely, causing obesity.
- Try to cut down on the amount of pasta and rice you eat per week.
- Get used to eating brown bread, and choose the type that contains bran (it helps in the digestion process).
- Eat only natural, non-salted nuts.
- Keep at least three hours between one meal the other.
- Don't eat too much salt, it stores fluid in the body causing you to become bloated.
- Drink 6 to 10 glasses of water a day to wash your body of toxins and fat.
- Do not eat chewing gum, even without sugar.
- Do not eat chicken skin, it contains loads of fat and hormones.
- Do not eat late at night so as to allow the stomach to digest food efficiently.
- Always start your meals with green salads
- Beware of soups that contain cream.
