1) Demand. Yes you have to ask yourself, is what I'm trying to promote and sell is there a demand for it? Do you think there would be a demand for a jar of pickles? Even if you would profit 75%? Don't think so.
2) Target Market. You have big niches and small niches. Big niches home based business. Ok great but then there are little niches, realtors, stay at home mom's, teacher's. Get the picture? You have to target from the big picture.
3) Personal Branding. So important. Wouldn't it make you feel so much more trustworthy seeing a face and a name instead of just emails? It is crucial that you give free information, I mean valuable, empowering information so you and your leads can bond and form a trust. Once you have the trust they will look at anything you have to offer within their budget or surprisingly a month or two later they hooked up with you. Share your knowledge and your positive attributes you will gleam on the internet.
4) Generating Traffic. Oh boy wouldn't it be nice to just sit back and watch the leads roll in. Biggest obstacles that there are so many and you will be bombarded with emails after emails. I suggest you get a separate Gmail account for all your traffic sites. I suggest trafficgeyser.com, listjoe.com, listauction.com, viralurl.com. they bring unbelievable results and are powerful.
5) Monetising your site. You want to build your list but not just be a taker. You have to be 80% giver and 20% taker. You want to give something of value so they give you their name and email.
6) Conversion. A visitor turns to a lead and a lead can turn into a sale.
7) Affiliates. Perfect for newbies that have no product to sell. There are numerous affiliate programs on the internet. Just look for ones that have a step by step training course for you to follow.
8) Recurring revenue. You want to encourage your downline to become a distributor to have a downline under them to where month after month continued income flow.
9) Multiple streams of income. Affiliate funnel is a good site that I suggest.
10) Joint Ventures. As you get further familiar with your program and income under your belt, finding a partner to share information and your downline with can increase your business tremendously.
I would like to end with something Perry Marshall says; "Nobody who bought a drill wanted a drill they actually wanted a hole. Therefore, if you want to sell drills, you should advertise information about making a hole. Not info on a drill.
