1. Positive Thinking. Thinking positive thoughts can promote happiness and change your mental attitude. Think happy, be happy.

2. Inner Child. Times flies when you are having fun and were all happiest when we were children. Rediscover your inner child and learn to enjoy life to the fullest.

3. Patience. Becoming more patient can increase happiness. You can eliminate stress by understanding the situations and circumstances that cause you to feel stress. There are many way to practice patience, such as taking the time to maintain and watching a flower garden grow and change over the seasons.

4. Exercise. Whether using light weights or doing some jogging, keeping your body in an exercise routine will make you feel good and be healthy. Being in shape can also help raise your confidence and self esteem.

5. Smile. Try sharing a smile with someone as you are passing them by. Even a smile from a stranger can bring you joy and brighten your day.

6. Hobbies. Starting a hobby is a great way to do something that brings you pleasure, joy and keeps you relaxed. Sharing your hobbies with others helps you feel important too. Try new thing like, cooking, fishing, collecting, or even starting a garden.

7. Be Social. Spending time with loved ones, such as friends and family is a great way to increase happiness. You could even join some social clubs to meet new people.

8. Buy Yourself Something Nice. Save some money and do yourself a favor, buy something nice. This should only be done occasionally and should be something that will have a special meaning to you.

9. Eat Healthy. A healthy diet is another way to help keep you feeling good. Eating healthy is a great way for your body to get the nutrients and vitamins it needs to grow and function properly. 10. Sleep. Getting a full night of sleep every day will keep your body energized. Memory, clear thinking, and alertness are also affected by sleep. Get started with a bedtime ritual to help you get into a consistent sleep routine.
